Gil Amelio joined Provision’s Board of Advisors in January 2009. Mr. Amelio has more than three decades of leadership experience in technology and business. He has served as the CEO and chairman of Apple Computer; the president, CEO and chairman of National Semiconductor; and the president of Rockwell Communication Systems, a unit of Rockwell International. Currently, Mr. Amelio is on the Board of Directors of AT&T, Inc.
Prior to his management career, Mr. Amelio was a successful technologist. He developed the first practical charge coupled (CCD) image sensor, which is used today to register images in consumer camcorders, digital still cameras and the eyeball of the Hubble Space Telescope.
Lyle Bunn (Ph.D. Hon.) is an independent analyst, advisor and educator whose focus has been on Dynamic Place-based Media for the past 13 of almost 40 years in his fields of information technologies and telecommunications. Mr. Bunn was recognized with an Honorary Doctorate for his significant contributions to education and the development of the Dynamic Place-based Media Industry (DSEG. January 2011).
Mr. Bunn is one of North America’s most highly regarded providers of Dynamic Signage and Enterprise media expertise to end users, integrators, suppliers, operators and investors. His education and advisory services have helped in the development of hundreds of corporate, brand, ad-based and hybrid networks for consumer, patron, visitor, staff and student communications.
Mr. Bunn has published more than 250 articles and whitepapers, and served as principal writer and editor of industry supplements included in USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and The National Post.
Mr. Bunn was named one of the “11 Most Influential People in Digital Signage” in August 2013 by Digital Signage Today, and as an industry Innovator and Influencer by Sign & Digital Graphics Magazine. He was the only individual named to the Digital Signage Forum’s 2005 Digital Signage Top Ten List, among such corporations as Thomson, 3M, Clear Channel, Focus Media and others. He serves on the Digital Signage Expo Advisory Board Industry Consultant's Council, on the Board of Advisors of Customer Engagement Technology World (CETW), as Academy Faculty of InfoComm International and on the judging panels of several industry award programs.
Mr. Bunn’s education sessions range from introductory to advanced learning. The “SPEED” Digital Signage Training Program, that addresses all key elements of network planning, deployment and operations has been used by thousands of end users, network operations, advertising, integration and supply professionals to accelerate projects and supply capability. In addition to private corporate programs, SPEED is provided at major industry events.
Mr. Bunn presents or moderates at every major North American dynamic media event and was one of the first to carry the messages of Digital Signage, Digital Out-of-home and Place-based media into the broadcasting, consumer electronics, audio-visual industries and Silicon Valley technology sector with presentations at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), Consumer Electronics Show (CES), InfoComm International, National Restaurant Association, International Sign Association, to retailers and to others.
Mr. Bunn is often cited as an “industry expert” in articles, whitepapers, corporate plans and press releases of companies. In the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Executive briefing series, he is referenced often including as “one of the better known and better versed champions of digital signage.”
David Matera is the CEO and Co-Founder of PITCH, Inc., growing the company to $50 million in capitalized billings in 2009. Possessing 26 years’ worth of experience in the OOH industry, Mr. Matera is responsible for developing business opportunities for PITCH, forging influential relationships with vendors and clients alike. Additionally, recognizing the growth potential of Digital Out-of-Home media, in 2007, he co-founded Digital Hive (or D-Hive), a company designed to provide expert consulting, media planning and buying solutions specifically for DOOH media. Mr. Matera is actively developing industry-wide best practices for the emerging domain of Digital Out-of-Home, serving on the advisory board of both DPAA and DSE.
Proud of the focus and drive gained from completing four years of service in the Air Force, Mr. Matera’s introduction to OOH was through sales. As a National Sales Account Executive at CBS Outdoor for 14 years, he earned the company’s largest sales figures until he left to start PITCH in 2001. Significantly, PITCH is his second successful business: He owned San Francisco magazine when he was only 24 years old. He also holds positions on the Board of Directors for two non-profits: the Starlight Foundation and Blue Ocean Film Festival. Mr. Matera attended the University of Maryland.
Dave Yacullo is the CRO of Holt Media Companies based in New York City. HMC is a media holding company comprised of Out of Home specialists, digital OOH networks, and capital and advisory services. Dave’s primary role is the oversight and strategic development of all sales and revenue activities within the HMC network.
Dave started his career in 1989 as an Assistant Account Executive with Interpublic’s Out of Home division; Outdoor Services Inc. (OSI). In his 12 year tenure with OSI, Dave resided in Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles, while working to enlarge the company’s footprint across the US. In 1998 he moved to New York, where he was named President.
Dave founded Outdoor Media Group (OMG) in 2001 and was acquired by Omnicom in 2003 to manage all Out-of-Home needs for OMD and their clients. In 2005, Dave expanded the company to include Outdoor Media Alliance (OMA); a separate division established to provide strategic and innovative OOH solutions for PHD and Outdoor Imaging (OI) a full service production division. In 2011, he further expanded the company to include [d]-theory, a separate division established to provide strategic insight to digital mediums and digital OOH solutions.
Over the years the Outdoor Media Group of companies has grown into an industry powerhouse and has been recognized with numerous industry awards. In addition to award winning plans OMG has also been recognized for many “media firsts” for clients such as: McDonald’s, Pepsi, HBO, Absolut Vodka, Apple, Visa, Charles Schwab, Google and Warner Brothers.
Currently, Dave sits on the TAB Board of Directors and is an active member of the OAAA.
