Provision Interactive Aces Market Test in Japan
Unisys Japan Reports Highly Successful Results for Provision’s 3D Platform and Plans
Aggressive Roll-out
CHATSWORTH, California – August 24, 2009. Provision Interactive Technologies, Inc. ("Provision"), a subsidiary of Provision Holding, Inc. (OTCBB: PVHO), announced today that it has received an extremely positive preliminary report from Unisys Japan, and Provision’s Tokyo-based distributor. Unisys was testing Provision’s 3DEO platform in the Tokyo market. The numerical results and success data exceeded both companies’ expectations.
According to the report, the 3DEO kiosk program generated an extraordinary Amount of interest. The program “caught uncountable eye-catches from various industries as the next generation 3D digital signage. It literally is uncountable to know how many articles in the press about the 3D kiosk have been in the media.”
According to Unisys, this program is surely ranked in the top 3 among their past releases ever. And while the market test is completed, Unisys will keep the 3DEO platform in the marketplace, increase the quantity of locations, and purchase more products to expand the network.
“Unisys is a strong international partner,” said Provision CEO Curt Thornton. “It is gratifying
to have the tests exceed our expectations, and to have Unisys plan to move aggressively towards a full-scale roll-out in Japan.”
The President of Unisys Japan has instructed each sales department within the company to introduce the business model to all its clients. These include McDonalds, Disney, Lawson (franchise convenience stores), and Ito Yokado (franchise super markets).
Additionally, Unisys has stated that it is planning additional market tests for educational
networks, rather than limit the roll-out to retail platforms.
